Day 50

I have to admit, that of all of the colors in the spectrum,
orange is my least favorite...except when it comes to flowers.
Orange flowers have such a happy dispositon, and they look
great in any spot in the garden, especially if they are paired with
blue or purple. I can't imagine NOT having orange in my garden,
but you definitely won't find it on the walls of my home!

This particular zinnia is from the Kings Gap State Park
flower garden. There was a mass of zinnias begging to be
painted, along with all of the butterflies and bees that were
stopping by them to get some lunch. Think you'll be seeing more
of them... :)

This work is electric--the best use of orange and blue since Van Gogh.

Your works are so beautiful and happy. This flower makes me smile. My husband and I saw your works Friday night at Gallerie 13. Sooo beautiful. Thank you so much for your assistance in helping me log onto DDP. I'm so happy to be here.
