Daily Painters of Pennsylvania Capitol Exhibit

Join the Daily Painters of Pennsylvania at the State Capitol East Wing Rotunda this Friday September 10th from 3 - 5:30pm for the public reception of our first group exhibit. We have 50 original paintings on display. The show has already been very well received. Even Artist Magazine picked up the story for their blog.
The exhibit will hang at the Capitol for the entire month of September and then travel to Gallerie 13 in Mechanicsburg for the month of October with a public reception on Friday October 1st from 6 - 9pm.
The receptions give the public 2 chances to meet the artists while the 2010 show is together.
Art Collectors and Investors - the art in this exhibit will have wonderful provenance. Have your photo taken with the artist and pick up an exhibit brochure to add to your documentation.

When I look at the exhibit, I think about the countless hours of work and study that go into each members artwork. I recently read a book called "Talent is Overrated" and the 10,000 hour rule comes to mind. To become a master in any given discipline, approximately 10,000 hours of work is required. Congratulations to every member of the blog. You are all so deserving of this venue.
