My husband is from "South Jersey" around the Ocean City/Cape May area. How I love exploring the tidal marshes and sand bars with my husband and 4 boys. Stone Harbor and Avalon are great places to go "Gallery Hopping".

Mary Beth, I couldn't agree more. It is a really interesting place to paint. I participated in plein air event there and enjoyed the variety of subjects.Your painting has a nice Hopper feel to it.

I, too, really like that pattern in the sky giving the painting an almost whimsical feeling.
I love Cape May, Mary Beth. I vacationed there as a kid (from northern N.J.) and Craig and I have great memories from there, as well. Your painting is beautiful!
