The White Roses is finished - Mark H Brown

I just finished the painting of the White Roses.   I scumbled a cool to warm background, gradiating it from the bottom to top, to add some color energy.  I enhanced the lights on the petals and lightened areas of the fabric.  My goal was to create a peaceful feeling of quiet contemplation.   I feel it is well balanced, contemporary, yet timeless and uplifting.
