When my grandson was in t ball, I took a lot of photos. This painting was from my favorite photo of Dylan on the bench talking to the only girl on the team with other team mates on the bench. I think this is finished but I will have to look at it for awhile and probably make a few corrections.

There is something about how those big hats have to be cinched so tight on those little guys' (and girls') heads! So very cute and so very poignant, truly. What a fabulous composition and wonderful painting...hopefully destined to become a family treasure!
Little people and their sports--great subject matter for artists moms and grandmoms--I've painted both my children and grandchildren participating in sports--lots of love goes into those works--Your painting is wonderful, but I especially love the great job you did on the hats--perfectly rendered--fitting the heads[or not]--the brims cocked and positioned just right.
PS--We're Philly fans and we hope to get another crack at those Yankees this season.
