Today I tackled the abstract nature of the glass vase. It is a lot like putting together a 5000 piece puzzle of a field of wild flowers! It helps to take a lot of breaks. I enjoyed the swirl and design against the softer feel of the rest of the painting. It is starting to really take form. Tomorrow the leaves!

I'm loving all the nuances of white on display here. The lovely cool, warm, shimmering, muted grays convincin us of the various white surfaces.

ALSO-- I LOVE THE SWIRLING MOVEMENT IN THE FABRIC, REPEATED IN THE VASE AND THE TRIM ON THE TABLE.
I have'nt been posting much lately but I looked through your post because the white roses caught my attention. I did not catch the medium or what you are painting on but what ever it is -this is amazing!
