BASKING IN BERMUDA SUNSHINE By Cecelia Lyden

acrylic
SOLD

This painting hung in the ArtHouse Lounge Gallery in Harrisburg last month, but just sold today. Jason Piper, the gallery owner, called me today and asked if I could bring it in. A woman had seen it last month, but just decided to purchase it as a gift for her son. She said the male in it looked like her son.

I painted it, because I loved the shadows and the umbrella's shape and colors against that blue sky. She bought it primarily because the male looked like her son. No matter, it touched her which is what we as artists try to do.

Congratulations, Cecilia!

What a wonderful news! And just like we mentioned to you with Irina - your show at Gallery 13 is looking great too!
Hopefully even more paintings will be sold for somebody else to enjoy.
