"Sponge Docks from Dolphin Boat", pastel, by Dianne Lorden

I just completed this 16" x 20" pastel painting, done entirely with Rembrandt soft pastels (and colour-shaper wedges) on Mi-Teintes art board in red earth. It's not yet framed.
The painting depicts a view of the Sponge Docks, which lie along the Anclote River, Tarpon Springs, Florida. I took the photo from a dolphin cruise touring boat last month. What fun! (Except for the sun burn.)
Price is $300.00 prior to framing.

Lovely, Dianne!
I adore what other people can do on Mi-Teintes. I'm not one of them and have to work on sanded surface. Love the color choice for your support too. You made it work for you.

Beautifully done, Dianne. I especially like the softness of the sky.
