Day 21

The rain continues, so I thought that instead of
letting it get me down - I would paint it! It was
quite interesting to get the placement right so that
the design would be pleasing. Does your eye move
around the canvas?

Also, there's a lot more color in here than one
would suspect - especially in
the raindrops that I wanted to be more
important.

Thank you.

Show this to Ralph Hocker (who should be a DPP member but doesn't use a computer). He was recently studying droplets. This is awesome.

My eyes move around the canvas and my fingers wanted to touch the droplets.

Thank you! I swear, as soon as I was finishing this up the sun broke through the clouds!

Yes, my eyes move all over the painting. I feel the moisture, I hear the rain and I am looking for more to appear!

You must have made the raindrops very happy to be recognized and painted by you. Realistic for sure!

I also enjoyed your creative approach to a wet day. Artist teach other artists how to see and this proves it.
