Plein Air in Camp Hill PA by Mary Beth Brath

Willow Park - Camp Hill - Plein Air Outing with the Perry County Group

On Monday, about a dozen artists gathered at Willow Park in Camp Hill PA to paint. The Perry County Plein Air Group is led by Jon Tritt. We had many residents of the town stop by to watch. This was completed in about 3 hours onsite. At home, I added a few more "sky holes" under my tree branch to better define the leaves.

You did a lovely job on this, Mary Beth. You captured the bright sunshine and peaceful mood of the park perfectly.

Your portrayal of the park that I have driven by almost every day for the past 41 years made me look at it in a new light--such a nice piece.

Looks like a picnic lunch kind of place...could those be poppies in the background??
