Day 22

What makes flowers look prettier than a
beautiful blue flower pot? Just painting this
made the grey rainy day we are having (yes,
another one!!!) disappear.

'Meadow Sage'
Oil 5x7

Day 23

Everytime I walk out of the back door of my
house, I get to see these clumps of beautiful
blue meadow sage I planted along the stone
retaining wall. Every morning and every afternoon,
these flowers are covered with honeybees, and if
you have been following this challenge - you
already know how much I love my honeybees!

They're lovely - I especially like the Meadow Sage. But, they're both so gentle and sweet. They make me think of the very best moments of summer.
