Day 09

These tiny little flowers always put a smile on
my face. Even though I only planted them once about
twelve years ago, they pop up in unexpected places
somewhere different each Spring.

This year I was pleasantly surprized to find a large
mound of them in my front flower bed!

Johnny Jumps Ups--I remember them from a garden we has 3 decades ago--beautiful and delicate

I also look forward to Johnny-Jump Ups. They are a nice surpirse in the spring because they just happen. Your painting is like that...looking natural and effertless.

ahhh, Johnnie Jump-ups
a memory from our past
how quickly they grow
but alas, they live fast
just a few days
don't ya know
so enjoy their show
before they get up and go!

will you be painting some buttercups for us?

edit...
should be:
"before they jump up and go!
