I love the shape of umbrellas. The view of this umbrella over the edge of an awning from a second floor porch presented a sharp contrast with the stained wood deck and a distinct outline of its shape. This is the second time I have painted this umbrella. My first painting is hanging over the fireplace in our daughter's home in Annapolis.

Beautiful job on this painting, and that umbrella is incredible! I just want to be sitting there under that umbrella, shading myself from the WARM sunshine, drinking a glass of iced tea and enjoying a good book.
