Bent Pine Alpaca Farm - Acrylic Plein Air Landscape by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Bent Pine
11" x 14"
Acrylic on canvas
Bent Pine was started plein at at the Bent Pine Alpaca Farm off Old Stonehouse Rd., Carlisle, PA. The bent pine is more visable as being "bent" when walking up the driveway. Apparently, the owners found out the alpacas liked eating the tree, causing it to grow to the right. This painting will be exhibiting in my new studio that I share with fellow artist and friend, Carolyn Gibboney at 2nd Floor Gallery, 105 S. Market St., Mechanicsburg, PA. There will be a free wine and cheese reception Saturday, May 15 from 7 to 10:00 pm. There will also be a Mechanicsburg Art Walk that day. If in the area, please drop in to see us. If you have any questions, or wish to purchase, e-mail Pat at patsfineart@hotmail.com If interested in viewing more of my paintings, visit my website and blogspot at:

Love this, Pat. I am especially liking the way the blues in the building in the foreground translate so well into the background. Very, very nice work!

This is gorgeous, Pat. I think it moves into my favorite of favorites of your's. There is something in the mood of the piece with the father, son, and family dog that just moves me so...
