Thank you all for the many wonderful comments. This piece is a pastel on Wallis sanded paper. Size is 12 x 16. price is 125.00 (I know I'm going to hear about that.) I paint what I see. I see the world as flashes of amazing bright colors that come rushing at me in whirlwinds of energy. I sometimes can't write them down fast enough. The curse of being creative is the problem I mentioned. The blessing of it all is that I can create.

2 BEAUTIFUL POPPY PAINTINGS ON THE SAME PAGE--SAME FLOWER--DIFFERENT STYLES OF PAINTING--WHAT A TREAT!
Joe Kluck is a man of many talents. His hand carved signs can be seen all across Northeast PA!
Love the color and texture of the background. It highlights an already beautiful painting of poppies.
Beautiful, just beautifull!
Love the flowers, love the background.
What a coinsidence - I just started to work on my own Poppies about two days ago!... Should be a summer time, everybody is hungry for color!
Gorgeous color and rich texture, Joe. But I'm curious about your medium: pastel, watercolor, mixed?
Really nice. I was wondering about the medium as well and also the size.
Wowsa...popular poppies...I love the rich background colors against those glorious poppies!
Beautiful painting whatever the medium!
This is so beautiful - the background colors really set off the poppies!
We're all in agreement - you've painted vibrant poppies against a wonderfully rich and dynamic background. Very nice.
Beautiful work, Joe! Is this done on Yupo?
