Katie's Irises - Original Acrylic Impressionistic Floral Painting on Canvas by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Katie's Irises
12" x 12"
Acrylic on Canvas
SOLD

This painting was done plein air last summer at Stoney Creek Irises, located on Stoney Creek Road in Dauphin, PA. Katie, the owner, not only offered us a variety of beautiful irises to paint, but subject matter such as chickens, roosters, hen house, turkeys, cottage, gardens and a beautiful vista of mountain ridges. Katie not only grows & sells irises, but is also a musician & author, so visiting with her is always interesting and delightful. A good morning of painting & commiserating.

Lovely work, Pat!

Did I see this one at "Art and Soul", or I'm mistaking it for something else?...

Katie was at the Earth Day Festival in Mechanicsburg on Saturday. She had a booth set up for the Iris Farm. Congratulations on the sale of this painting Pat!

Thanks, everyone. You are right, Tatiana, that is where it sold on Saturday. I'm sorry to have missed Katie; we will have to plan a return trip there when the irises start to bloom.
