Claire, these are gorgeous! I think irises are lovely flowers and to have a bank of them is wonderful. I also love that diffused light sort of backdrop for these beauties. I am reminded of Van Gogh's strokes in that particular area of this lovely painting!

Claire--Wonderful portrayal of irises.Your whole canvas is alive with color and movement--the blossoms and leaves, as well as the twisting brushwork background--
