Sophie and Ozzie by Bertie Brown

Sophie

Ozzie

Conductor’s Alley

Ozzie the Octopus

Is Sophie’s new toy

He’s quite the musicologist

And brings Sophie such joy..

He plays an octave

Makes a rhyme

And sings a tune

In three quarter time..

You know, conducting’s a dream

When you have Ozzie to lead..

And p.s.

Sophie’s technic

Was distinctively fine

With her left pinky extended

She looked so refined!

They must be identical twins- I can't tell them apart. On another note- I love your washes and glazing effects.

Sophie might be offended at that...but then again, Ozzie is awfully cute!
Fraternal twins?

Both paintings are gorgeous, Bertie. Somehow I think you have a fabulous book in you, written and illustrated by one Bertie Brown!

Well, I certainly would like to do a "Sophie and Me" children's book series but I'm stymied as I don't have the slightest idea how to get an agent/editor/publisher........meanwhile, Sophie and I will continue to create!
