Charlotte, this is absolutely fabulous! I've never seen how the turtle tucks into his shell as well as you've captured your pet here! Amazing detail; I love it!

I am speechless. I will be sure to show my boys when they come home from school.

What a wonderful POV to draw! The colored pencil work is great- but what makes it is the shy turtle pulling away from the viewer!!!!!

It beats the standing hare as my favorite.

Charlotte, once again this is a beautiful drawing. The subject matter is particularly meaningful to me because my best friend (Laurene Puls)frequently chooses turtles for her subject matter. (In fact, she was one of the winners in the Artists' Magazine competitions recently, with a scene of a turtle being carried by a butterfly, over an aerial view of Ohio farms.) I'll be sure and share this with her.

What great critters you continue to delight us with, Charlotte! I don't as a rule like reptiles, but this little guy looks friendly...that perspective is indeed amazing!

Charlotte, I totally love the look on this little guy's face...and being an introvert myself I understand that look completely!
