A regular customer wanted this grouper for a present. It adds to my growing Saltwater Sports Fish of the East Coast. It is interesting that a Gag Grouper is the common grouper found on the menu, when you order grouper. Wonder how it got its name 'gag'?

I don't know how he got his name, but he sure looks like he could be mean. On the other hand it is a pretty cool looking fish!
