Musically Inclined (Series) by Bertie Brown

Brass Class

Its a well known fact

That a trio of brass

Is hard to beat

In terms of class.

And favorite things

Are not much better

Not chocolate or cheese cake

Nor lobster or steak

Not mountains or beaches

Nor clear mountain lakes

Not cool drinks in summer

Nor hot drinks in winter

Not even sun-showers

That grow my sunflowers

The one thing that’s better

Than a classy Brass Trio

would certainly be

A Mozart Horn Solo...

I really love your instrument paintings. This is so colorful and has such great composition. Beautiful! Also, love your poetry.

Bertie, the reflections and shine on your horn instruments is always so beautiful! The curved lines just flow with the colors, the music...You definitely have the music in you!

I can feel those horns playing.

I love the colors that swirl around the instruments - just like liquid music!

Thank you everyone! If I can no longer play horn, at least I can paint it!
