This scene is from a reference photo and a quick painting sketch I did last year on my winter RV trip. Biloxi MS is where my eldest daughter was born. I wanted to re-visit the beach I used walk to when she was a wee baby. As she loves water and beaches I painted this to hang in her coastal-color theme bedroom.

This is part of a nature/seashore series I'm working on. I'm at a loss for a title. If anyone can give me some suggestions I'd appreciate it. This was fun to paint and will look great with the deceased crab I painted prior. We all know everything is here for a purpose in this great circle of life.

Watercolor by Kathy Michels "You Will Begin to Touch Heaven . . . "

Finished this watercolor "You Will Begin to Touch Heaven in That Moment You Touch Perfect Speed". I loved the photo shoot with the birds so the painting was a blast to paint.
