Lyrical Landscape Series (Spring) by Bertie Brown

Lyrical Landscape

original: 12 1/2"w x 10"h

A Spring Thing

Meadows bordering a grove of trees

Spreading a canopy

Of blues and greens

Sifting a symphony

Intense, yet serene

Of filtered though slight

Shimmering sunlight

The pathway to spring

Is a glorious thing...

Loose and mysterious. I love the path that leads me in deeper and makes me wonder just what lies ahead.

This is a poem in itself, so fluid and mystical. Absolutely beautiful, Bertie.

so different from you. I enjoy the looseness of the scene with the bright jumps of color.

This is really airy and free! Wonderful.

I, too think this painting is lyrical & poetic and exuberant.
