This watercolor study of a Green Sunfish (Bream) is my favorite for the color hues they have. It makes a wonderful subject to paint. This is another in my growing series of Sunfish from the Genus of Lepomis that I have been doing for the last few months.

Beautifully painted, Thom. Every time I look at your fish and insect paintings I think how wonderful they myst look as a collection, or in a book. They are really magnificent.

I'm not a fisherman[fisherwoman], but good grief, this green sunfish watercolor is remarkably beautiful.

Nature is so full of wonder. There are so many varieties of simple panfish and they are all so beautiful. I love looking at your posts. Inspiration in nature is found everywhere and the possibilities are endless. Our Creator has given us so much.

I used to love to fish. These might be the ones we used to catch in the Poconos when we were kids. They are very pretty fish. Great job!
