Desert Campfire - an Original Oil Painting by Rebecca Jennings (Sunny)

"Desert Campfire"
4" x 4" mini, oil on canvas panel

I love the glow of fire on a rock-built fire-pit, especially love it in the desert. I find the desert so peaceful, and was heading that way this winter. However, breakdowns and repairs got in the way. I ended up spending all my time in Texas this year. I am now looking forward to summer campfires at home in my own backyard.

Snow Moon, Original Oil Painting by Rebecca Jennings (Sunny)

Have you heard of the "snow moon"? I hadn't until this year. It is the full moon the first part of February. My daughter took this photo from her upstairs window about 4 am. As I am traveling, I of course missed the beautiful scene, but not the deep snow that has come since then!

"Nocturne Painting" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

8"x10" Acrylic on canvas board

This was an adventure for sure. I never painted in the dark and it proved very interesting and fun to do. The tree was up lit so it created a nice center of interest. This was in the yard where we stayed at Martha's Vineyard. Made even more fun my painting buddies and hubby were with me!
