HARRISBURG MALL EXHIBIT By Cecelia Lyden

I took an opportunity to display and sell a few of my larger paintings on the first floor of the Harrisburg Mall. They were all done when I was just using acrylics and before I decided that large paintings were too difficult to sell, store, and handle. I love painting on big canvases, but  for those reasons, I rarely paint on any size larger than 16x20, unless commissioned. For example, the depth of that window display area was only about 3 feet. Handling and maneuvering the easels and big paintings in that space would have been very difficult for me. Luckily, I had an adroit fellow artist and friend, Donna Barlup, there to do the maneuvering and handling.
