off my easel is this oil painting of a steer and her calf alone in a
field. My reference photo was the basis of this painting which was taken
on a friends farm near Hunterstown many years ago. Since I was raised
on a farm, I get excited when I can visit a farm to take pictures for
painting references.

This is sweet, Charlotte - gotta love cows. This reminds me of a favorite from my Child's Garden of Verses. "The lovely cow, all red and white ..."
