Of course there are multiple varieties of palms here in Florida. The trees in the center are Cabbage Palms and are the state palm. The rust colored-foliage in between them is a sea grape plant. I recently learned that natives, years ago, would strip the bark to find edible cabbage. This process killed the tree and is not allowed anymore.
