River's Swamp Mallows -impressionistic acrylic plein air floral painting by Pennsylvania Contemporary Artist Pat Koscienski

"River's Swamp Mallows"
9" x 12"
Acrylic on canvas

"River's Swamp Mallows" was painted plein air along the Susquehanna River in Goldsboro, PA
I wanted to zoom in on the swamp mallows, which seemed prolific that year, and not for once do a painting of the river itself.  A weathered log seemed to find companionship with these flowers and give it some framing.  This painting will be on exhibit the month of June at the Charley Krone Gallery located on the 2nd floor of the New Cumberland Library. This is one of 25 paintings that I will have hanging. If in the area, stop in and visit the exhibit. Again, it is located on the 2nd floor of the New Cumberland Library, 1 Benjamin Plaza, New Cumberland, PA. If you have any questions, or wish to purchase, contact Pat.
