This painting was done ala prima using texturized acrylic paint and a palette knife. It started off as a nonobjective abstract for this month's DPP challenge. However, I started to see some flowers on a mountain side and decided to stay with that. I did not stop to photograph different stages for fear of breaking that right brain period that I was in.
