Rolling Fields by Jill Peckelun, oil painting

Rolling Fields, oil en plein air 12 x 9"

This was done from WAY UP a hilltop in my continuation of paintings of rolling fields.  They don't tell you when you study art how strong you have to be to lug your easel and paints around.  What a work out.  This painting is one of several that will be on display at Red Raven Art Company, 138 Prince St, Lancaster for the month of February.  I'll be at tonight's First Friday reception from 5 to 8 pm trying to look like I got something going on!

Looks wonderful Jill. Looking like you have something going on is a good thing. Feeling it is even better!

I love the vantage point, and how that gloriously colored hill pulls me right into the painting.

I was going to say much the same thing that Claire did...this really pulls me in.
