The Fisherman - Debi Watson Watercolor

I'm trying to pick three paintings to send for jurying into National Watercolor Society. I didn't expect to have this opportunity and most of my best paintings are already promised to other exhibits. (That'll teach me to keep busy!) This is an older painting that was still in the studio and he'll be one of my hopeful examples. He was a fisherman at Myrtle Beach.

This is stunning. I love the way the fisherman's pipe smoke dissipates into the misty background. I think this is an excellent choice for NWS!

Keep up the momentum; I wish you luck with NWS. I like his expression and the way you handled it. A misty, thought-provoking aura surrounding him. Nice.
