Happily, the sea gull pen-&-ink illustration (called "Just We Two", which I posted last week) sold on Friday evening during the reception of my show at Gunnar Galleries. The buyers took the picture with them, so a space was left. As the curator had displayed the gulls beneath another of my pen-&-inks, called "Along the Wharf," and behind a beautiful shore bird in wood -- by artist Tom Watson -- the space really wanted to be filled with something similar.
Thus, "Just We Two II"! This new illustration is based on photos I've taken along the docks by Hatteras Village, OBX. $85.00
The show, which runs through the end of July, is at Gunnar Galleries (in the historic Sewing Factory building) on Fourth St., in Gettysburg. It's across from La Belle Italia restaurant, by the train tracks. The space is beautiful, and currently contains my artwork on the walls, the gorgeous wood carvings of Tom Watson and jewelry by Ann Ruppert.

Congrats on the sale--great feeling when someone likes and appreciates your work enough to spend their money on it.
Hi Dianne - I stopped in Gunnar Galleries while in Gettysburg. It is an awesome space for an exhibit. Congratulations!
I so love these ink and watercolor washes! They look so pristine and are perfectly rendered for denoting a sunny beachy quality!
Congratulations on your sale, Dianne. This one is just as lovely as the first, so I wo't be surprised to hear that you have sold it also.
