Pat this is stunning - and one of your best! I love the loose and fresh brushwork, and the diagonal grade of the hill. This is fabulous.

I too like the strong diagonals and the burnt sienna in the foreground that echos in the background.

Very lovely painting. Love the big sky on such a small canvas. I Would like to be a member of the daily painters as that is what I also do.Not always successfully.I am trying to set up a blog. Claire is helping. madeline
