Thanks to you Thom I learned something new today about the life cycle of the beautiful dragonfly. You amaze me with your delicate detail when capturing these North American dragonflies. Keep up the good work!
Such intricacy here, Thom. I've always thought dragonflies were beautiful. Here you see many that have a dark blue looking body, gossamer wings that look opalescent but picking up blues and greens and violets in the sunlight...
I think the Nymph is quite lovely. At first glance the lower torso appears to be ringed with bells of many sizes.
It's wonderful. You must have had a great time with the details!
