"Lights and Reflections" by Tatiana Myers.

"Lights and Reflections" by Tatiana Myers
12 x 12". Pastel on Ampersand Museum Pastelboard.

I finished "Lights and Reflections". Love this painting from the time when I just start working on reference to the time I call it done.
It is very special for me, probably just because I love that place.

I can see why you like this place. I like the warmth and quiet of the place and the little spots of sunshine on the water.

This is really beautiful, Tatiana. The bits of light hitting the water are amazing.

Wow, Tatiana, this painting glows. You beautifully created the sun shining through the forest onto the water. Definitely a painting to be proud of.

Absolutely beautiful, Tatiana. Now this is my favorite of all your Cove Creek paintings!

The colors in the reflections are wonderful. As Charlotte said, "it glows"! Great painting.

Yes, I've used Ampersand. I don't know how many others in the Society have done so. I am now using Rtistx Board and absolutely love it. I'll ask Mike to bring some to the May pastel sale....and also Ampersand.

Love the orange in the water.

Saw you joined the Mechanicsburg Art Center. Good to see you with us.

Thank You, Maria!
Place is nice and calm, best part - no people, worst part - lots of ticks and sometimes not very easy to get around. Sort of slightly too wild, but so pretty... Lots of mountain laurel there too, just this season it didn't bloom much, therefore I didn't get any pictures of it.

Thank You, Claire!
Thank You, Charlotte!

Pat, dear, do you mean my next painting of the same creek could be your next favorite?.. Thank You! I do have intentions to make next one even better. :-)

Thank You, Jill!

I can't work just on plain paper, I need my sanded surface.. So far I tried U-art, Wallis, La carte and Ampersand... Colourfix too, of course.
La Carte is my favorite for Plein Air, since it holds pastels well and it is somewhat easy to transport. Ampersand is my studio favorite... and so easy to frame too!
I'm planning to attend out meeting in May and looking forward to see all the goodies! :-)

Thank You, Bertie!
this work was all about color, the rest of my "Cove Creeks' are all about GREEN color! :-)

Thom, so good to know "we got our people!" among board members. :-)

I'm planning to be at Mechancsburg with some of my works for upcoming juried show... Probably will see you there then!
