I love taking landscape classes with Earl Blust.
He is a fellow Board Member at Mechanicsburg Art Center
an an original member of the Seven Lively Artists.
He makes me work against my nature as someone who
loves detail to use larger brushes and loosen up.
He pushes my envelope.

My first plein air session was with Earl Blust. He is so wonderful. I didn't even know how to set up an easel. That class was through the Mechanicsburg Arts Center.

I've, also, studied with Earl. I can almost hear what he is saying to you about the bigger brushes LOL

You've got a good balance of loose washes and tight detail in both of these works.. your goals have been met w/success!
