"Winter's Delight" by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

"Winter's Delight"
6" x 4"
Acrylic
SOLD

"Winter's Delight" is an abstracted, acrylic painting of a cold, icy winter scene. The red berries were a delight to be seen through the frozen icicles. Of course, being an abstract, others may see other forms and have other feelings about it. This sold several months ago, but I couldn't resist posting it since it seemed apropos for the season. Gosh Pat! This is so pretty! I love ice coated branches; always so gorgeous as they refract and reflect light!

People are talking about your abstracts! At the Gallerie 13 open last week, I had people coming up and specifically commenting on your abstracts. Congratulations! Your hard work and dedication shows.

I am one of the people talking about your work! Last night during my evening painting class my students were asking questions about abstraction. During the course of the conversation, I mentioned your beautiful work and suggested they go to Gallerie 13 to see it.

This is a wonderful piece. It evokes the instant response to cold!

This painting really has that icy cold feeling. Great job!

You really capture the essence of this scene.

Thank you everyone for the positive comments. Abstract, especially nonobjective, can be so hard to paint. I sometimes wonder if the angst and frustration that goes into a painting is what makes the outcome on some so unique. Yesterday was one of those days, so your remarks are timely. Thank you.
