This painting has such a beautiful fluidity, Pat. You've really captured the look and sense of the marshlands.

Pat this is so perfect, so gorgeous. Having lots of wetlands in these parts, I immediately felt the love of such places, all of which you've captured so beautifully. I adore those wildflowers in the foreground.

Love the colors. I really want to go back to Wildwood and paint this year. I have another wetland area along the Susquehanna for us to paint. I'm so inspired I must get in the studio!

Oh, Pat -- this is my favorite of your posts, so far! Beautiful variety in your greens and the fluidity of the paint almost contributes to a "damp" feel in the marsh. Very rich!

Your painting reminds me of an artist I was in an association with in NH. Her web site is: www.moniquesalkellarios.com.bought an impressionistic painting of a similar scene from her around 15 years ago. You capture, not only the feel, but the color and texture of what I consider true impressionism. Beautiful work.
