Face Card #5 Maria Kovalenko Leysens

Yet another 2.5 x 3.5 inch watercolor face card. This is of a woman from a photo from the 1930's. I enjoy using vintage photographs as inspiration.

I am enjoying following your postcard exercise with the different faces. It shows that watercolor is better than photography. Each face is so unique.

This one reminds me of the photo I have of my "studda bubba" (did I spell that right?) wearing her babushka! Thank you!

I don't know if Mary Beth spelled it right, but I know exactly what she means. I got the same feel. I also enjoy viewing these cards. It "almost" makes me want to try one.

thank you all. I doesn't matter how you spell it... we all know what/who a studda baba is... and we love her!
