This is my second painting of famous bridge on Susquehanna river, just a few miles away from our home. Rockville bridge is considered perhaps the most long arched stone bridge in the World. One of many, but the most beautiful one on Susquehanna.
This painting will be a part of Group show at Gallerie 13, starting from January.

Great perspective! You use a great point of view in this piece. I always admire any artist who can do great sky and water in pastel. The brilliance of color is fabulous.
Thank You, Thom! I collected some not bad reference shots this summer, so I have all winter right now to play with it. :-)I'm going to take one more look at this work before framing. Not sure if I'm totally happy with a clouds.
This is so beautiful, Tatiana! I love that ants eye view of those lovely green plants right up front. I was instantly reminded of Van Gogh's work of a bridge as seen from the banks of a river.
You really captured this one, Tatiana. And, well handled. I've been there but never attempted this particular composition. Great job.
This is a very pleasing painting,Tatiana. I greatly admire your pastel paintings. The colors are fresh and clean. A very good perspective of this admired bridge. Love it!
AutumnLeaves, thank you, and... I need to look for that painting of bridge you just mentioned. Do not remember that one.
Thank You, Pat!
This is probably my favorite view on Rockville, but I'm not sure yet, this is what I want. In ideal I would like to do a big painting of it (and not sure it will be pastel, but really it makes no difference).I want to bring close all the rocks what bridge is made of and still -handle correctly river and mountains.
So far with this painting I like foliage on a front and "solid look" of the bridge. I still need to work some more on a sky and water, maybe I'll change it a little, before framing.
I like this painting overall.
I really like your point of view in this, Tatiana. Looks wonderful!
Thank You, Claire! I still trying to figure out how to paint the front foliage well, and don't sacrifice a water quality...Mmmm... Challenging.
