You know, this painting looks great online, but I have seen it at Gallerie 13 in Mechanicsburg and it is stunning. I love the thick white paint you used for the splash and wish everyone could see the actual painting.

Can I just say...fabulous? I feel as if I stood too close to the painting, I would walk away with water on my face and clothing! This is really great, Pat.

Ok, Pat...I came hear to see Claire's works (as I cannot find her on a blog), and I see you are here as well. First of all, the horses are just so stunning (the strength, the unbridled power!), but Mary Beth's comment makes me want to see it in the gallery! Anyway, if I find this painting on your blog, I just wanted to let you know that in the future my comments will go over there, ok? (Otherwise I might get quite redundant! LOLOL)

Thanks, Mary Beth, hopefully a few Pennsylvanians who, when in the area will drop in. One never knows.

Thanks, Claire, I was hoping to capture movement.

Thanks, for your wonderful comments, Autumn. I do understand how you feel about commenting on duplicate posts, though. For that reason, I try hard not to post the same paintings on my blogs too close together.

Your portrayal of the grace and beauty of these horses is amazing, not to mention the action.
