"Faith's Tree" by Pat Koscienski

"Faith's Tree"
14" x 18"
Oil on Board

"Faith's Tree" was painted plein aire at a farm in Liverpool, PA. This tree had a lot of character and I felt it deserved to be the subject of attention. And, of course the autumn colors were spectacular that year. This painting is now on exhibit at Art & Soul Gallery, 900 Market St., Lemoyne, Pa. If interested in purchasing, contact Lyn O'neal, 717-761-1270 until January.

I saw this painting at Art & Soul today. Of course it was absolutely beautiful. What day will you be demonstrating at Art & Soul?

Lovely, Pat! I'm in love with your abstracts, but feel like I need to look at some more of your representational works. :-)

Thanks, everyone, for your comments and for visiting. Autumn has to be one of my favorite seasons to paint.

Pat, my favorite part of this painting is the stunning red tree line in the background and the receding grays behind it. Beautiful!
