This painting was done from a photo I took of an amazing Florida sunise last winter. I will enter in CALC's "HELLO YELLOW"  member exhibit, starting on February 12. I knew, when I took the picture that I wanted to paint this glorious sight and was delighted to have tthe pic when I learned that yellow was to be the color for this year's color-themed membership exhibit.

This is my final Forida painting for this winter season. It was done from photos taken from the balcony. The sunrises in the last four years have not been as colorful and glorious as the first couple of years we were here, but still, spectacular enough to photograph and paint. Sunrise skies are fleeting, but painting them is the way I capture them and hold them forever.
