Middle Earth at Middle Creek, 24 x 18" oil en plein air Jill Peckelun
I saw this place while I was painting something else, thought about it for two weeks and then came back and painted it. It is the largest plein air painting I have ever attempted (24 x 18") and I think the reason it was completed at one go is because I was painting it in my head beforehand. I should do that sort of thing more often.
