IN THE STATION, FATHER AND DAUGHTER by Nancy Herman

IN THE STATION
(Father and Daughter)
6" x 8"
oil on canvas board

More painting from the train window.  What is going on here?  Is it a father and daughter?  She looks like she might be guilty about something, head down in a gesture of humility.  What did she do?  He looks straight ahead, unforgiving.   Or is she just examining her new boots?
