"Sénanque Abbey", pastel study by Tatiana Myers.

"Sénanque Abbey", about 6x8"
Pastel on primed watercolor paper.
Self-made ground.

Somehow at happened that this year I'm spending plenty of time on creating of
custom pastel grounds. This one is as close to my "like" as I got so far.
Combination of grit and acrylic gel. More to follow.

Very nice...and reminds me so much of the time I spent in Provence.

Thanks for bring back those good memories for me! :-)

Love that little hint of green you brought down into the rows of lavender.

Thank You to all! It was nothing much and quick, but I had great time with this painting and... I like it! I'm glad You do too. I also feel like our summer session with Bill Creevy worked out for me well, when I'm looking at this one...
