On New Year's Day, oil en plein air, 14 x 11", Jill Peckelun

It is a testament to my down parka that the only part of me that got cold on a 31 degree day was my toes.  The paint was pretty stiff too.  But, I have a small, personal tradition of painting at the family farm on the first day of each new year and so I was determined.  The next day it snowed several inches and all of this was covered in white.

I love your determination and drive. It takes a special person to take on the elements for art!
