King's Gap Zinnias Floral Landscape by Daily Painter of Pennsylvania Mary Beth Brath

King's Gap Zinnias by Mary Beth Brath
36x48" Acrylic on Canvas

Here goes my soap box again.  Art must be viewed in person. Seems odd for me to be continually making this statement since I am so active online. Notice how warm the colors look in the top photo. Now look how cool the same painting looks in the bottom photo. Interesting. Brush strokes and texture is also lost unless viewing in person.

If you have not been out to view original art "in the real" lately...give yourself a treat and visit an exhibit. And if you get the chance, leave a hand written note for the artist.

Hi MB...
A GREAT POST and I agree ART needs to be seen!

I especially love those zinnias from up at King's Gap, Mary Beth. You take me back to the warmth of the day, and the buzz of the bees, and the remembrance of summer.

I really like the zinnias as well. So vibrant with color and life. You are so right about the importance of seeing a painting in person.
