"Farm Fuel Shed" by Larry Lerew
7.5 x 9.5" Watercolor on Watercolor Paper
Started some new watercolors today after spending yesterday driving around shooting photos of snow. I now have plenty of sketching and painting to do in the studio. This farm fuel tank was next to a corn field and orchard in Adams County.

Hi Larry - I plan to paint from photos that I took over the past week also. It would be so much better to plein air because the photos do not show the correct color at all. I will need to use my memory! That should be interesting.
Hi Mary Beth,
Painters in general shouldn't get so hung up on accurate color matching. I know that is what many instructors teach but I think we should have fun with our color and memories. Remember we are making art and learning with the aid of nature to express ourselves freely as individuals.
I like your reply...We should always create with our own style...Create Freely! Right on, Larry!
